night vision sequence?
Why was that whole sequency in nightvision (or at least green)? Anyone have any idea. Its probably the weirdest thing ive ever seen in a movie.

shareIt's awesome ... whenever me and my gf remember Rollerball, I talk about how awesomely funny the nightvision sequence is, and my gf always rants about how much that is her most hated sequence from the movie.
With the nightvision scene, they are just trying to be cool and "realistic."
And Chris Klein has a "Vanilla Ice" style appearence in this movie.

As much as people want to believe what they have been told about this scene, the simple fact is that they messed up. The release of this movie was delayed six months because they had to go back and re-shoot and re-edit some of the scene. They had filmed the scenes too dark. The problem was they couldn't get any more money to do this. So the only possible fix was to lighten the existing footage. The green tint was added to make it appear as night vision.
shareGOD, whenever I think of the worst movie ever, Rollerball (2000 version) always jumps into my skull. I hate this movie with a passion. Although I dont remember most of it, this post just reminded me of the scene that made me walk out of the Theatre with my two friends. It's still the only movie I have EVER walked out on. It's just THAT bad.
shareHey, me too! During the aforementioned Night-vision scene as a matter of fact.
"I know, I know, I know. What else are we here for?"
That scene was classic, it is the only thing about the movie i remember. Me and my friends still make fun of it all the time. This really was one of the most crappy movies ever made. it's kind of sad how crap like this can get made meanwhile there are aspiring filmmakers out there who really have a story to tell but cant get their movies made.
shareI thaught we agreed never to admit seeing that movie?
