Makes no sense

Why did those two pedophiles target other pedophiles? Seems like gross hypocrisy to me.

I assume you're talking about Akai and Kanie. Well, Akai is a cop (don't know about Kanie) and his job is to target criminals like pedophiles despite his...problems. I'm guessing he likes his job as a dirty cop and he also mentions he loves causing pain. What better people to cause pain to than pedophiles?

I'm gonna get you, like a spaceboy. Whoa whoa whoa whoa!!!

They take on jobs from different clients. Akai and Kanie are the handlers, while Sawa and Oburi are the contract killers. Probably at some point, both Akai and Kanie were also contract killers, but have handed that job down to others, so that they're less in the line of fire and can collect more money.

The reason for killing their targets aren't really important, since they take on jobs from various clients, they probably mention it to Sawa and Oburi to make them feel better about killing people.

The first group of men that both Sawa and Oburi kill together were contracted by two young girls (more than likely previous victims of the three men), you can see their photos being removed from a computer after the job was done and Akai was discussing payment with Oburi. Later on, when Kanie tells Sawa to kill the actor, there was no mention of what crimes he committed to deserve being killed, but Akai scolded Sawa for killing the client--obviously the dead twin wanted his brother killed, and since he was the client, if the correct person was killed, he wouldn't have come forward as a witness.
