when idiot nr.2 jumps over to catch the bomb suitcase, he holds the gun in the hand (right hand), and catch the ladder of the plane while he still holds the gun. After 5 second, a frame in the movie shows him without the gun, he holds tight on the ladder with the right hand. The next frame shows him again with the gun in hand. This was one!
The second is: while he falls in the ocean, he holds the gun in right hand, the bomb suitcase in left hand. When he enters the water, the gun is in his left hand, the case in righ hand (btw, the movie pauses to show that time's up, 00:00)

The second mistake was likely due to a rather common occurrence. Sometimes, to get the shot they want they'll flip the film so the angle is from the other side. This happens once in Hellboy where briefly the big stone hand is on the left side and once in Evil Dead 2 where Ash is in the cellar and he reaches out for some of the pages to the Necronomicon with his right hand which by that point was cut off.

They talk about it in the commentary on Evil Dead 2. At least on the special edition DVD.
