Is Johnny Knoxville's character a reference to Pearl Jam? (Eddie Leadbetter)

and don't give me the Eddie Vedder or Yellow Ledbetter thing either....its just silly, maybe you shouldn't look so deep into things...

When I heard the character name the fist thing I thought of was Vedder, so don't rip on him for asking.

Or, as said in another thread, it could be a tribute to Huddie Leadbetter, the blues musician known as Leadbelly. I just think it's a coincidence.

i think it is; it says so in the trivia. but i can't picture dave barry as a pearl jam fan.

I think a lot of the quote and trivia sections on this site are updated by guys like you and me....and i know i'm often wrong.
