Question about a line...
"Arthur didn't have evidence, but he knew where he could get some."
What does this refer to? Where was he able to get evidence (if we ever find out)?
I don't remember exactly where that line was from, but I believe that was supposed to be that his job had to do with buying weapons from the Russian guys and the evidence was the bomb he tried to purchase (and which Eddie and Snake stole).
I might be wrong on that though. I just remember that in the book he bought a missile to get the police to take him seriously.
Ah. Actually that makes perfect sense. Somehow, I never quite realized why he was buying a missile. Arthur was such a ridiculous character that I assumed he was going to try to blow them up or something.
