Tim Allen has got to be the worst choice of any character the director
has ever cast.
This movie could have been a classic with someone who isn't a schmuck starring in it.
Normally I don't care for him either, but I thought he was pretty good in this.

shareI thought that he was very funny. He is one of my favorite actors. He is one reason why I love "Home Improvement". He was also very funny in "WIld Hogs".
shareI like Tim Allen just fine in this movie. He has admittedly made a whole hatful of stinkers, but one's good. His best movie, hands down, is Galaxy Quest.
I think the biggest miscast in the movie is Stanley Tucci. He always comes across as a bit affected, and way too sharp for an idiot like Arthur Herk. Herk should have been cast with a big, dumb, low-rent mobster type, like James Gandolfini, or a younger Danny Aiello. I wonder if Jay Leno could be that nasty a guy, but he sure would have been funnier.
