Anybody else think Stanley Tucci was...

a complete miscast? If you read the book (and it's the kind of book you just explode in laughter wherever you read it, and people turn and stare at you), his character, Arthur Herk, was a big, dumb, mafia-bagman mook. Stanley Tucci is WAY too intelligent to play that kind of guy. I might have cast Tom Sizemore if he wasn't already playing Snake.

I think Tucci is a fine actor, just not quite right for this part. Then again, only he could have pulled off the toe-sucking scene and gotten even a little laugh. Sizemore doing that would have just been over-the-top creepy.

if a person did not read the book, then I'm sure they enjoyed Tucci's portrayal (as i did).
