I Haven't Seen This Movie, But. . .

I remember in her diary, when:

1) She was listening to the coversation from the floor. But it was SO boring, that she fell asleep on the ground. , and

2) She mentioned that time when her Mother and sister where going to check something, but they didn't let Anne go with them! This made Anne SO upset, that she started crying, her Mom and sister laugh at her, and Anne sticks tongue out at them while a shocked woman passes by!

Does this movie include these events?

No the movie doesn't show these events, which is a big shame as I remember these events from her diary too and I wondered how it would be acted out. I would have like to have seen her at the ice cream parlour 'Oasis' where she and her friends met 'admirers,' or even the ping-pong club, but I'm afraid none of these are in the movie either.

But the film is the best one I have seen of the life of Anne Frank and even though it cuts out some of these events, it still keeps in some of the most rememberable moments in her life that effected everything, like the start of the war etc. You have got to see the movie though, if you are a big fan of Anne Frank defintely see it!

I'm begging for a copy for my birthday, which is really soon, just a bit over a month (August 23). I'm making one movie with my friends, and I am going to include these in it, escpecially the ping pong club before Anne went into hiding and afetr she went.
