Anne Frank was an inspiration.

Anne Frank truly inspired me. By the end of her diary, I actually felt as though she was a close friend. I cried for Anne and her family. Her story has made such an amazing impact on my life. It captured my heart, as I'm sure it did many other people. The movie was also fantastically done. I cried at the end of that, too, because it was so realistic and heartbreaking, and also because I felt like I lost a dear friend. Maybe it's because I am a fifteen-year-old girl, and many of the things Anne went through, like falling in love for the first time, and not getting along with your family, I'm going through now. Many people have told me my personality is just like Anne's, that I have her innocence and her strong spirit, which I guess is true in a lot of ways. Also, my relationship with my shy ex-next-door neighbor turned best friend turned into the beginnings of a romantic relationship is so much like Anne and Peter's.

Anne Frank, I believe, is one of the most influential people in history. May her voice live on for years to come.

P.S. My "love interest" looks just like Nicholas Audsley, who played Peter in Anne Frank: The Whole Story. Weird, huh?

RIP Anne Frank

in spite of everything, I still believe people are good at heart. -Anne Frank
