this movie

this movie, i thought, was the best film adaptation of anne frank. hannah taylor gordon is such a great actress and she was the PERFECT choice for the role.

It was very depressing as well. in the scene in which anne is talking to hannah, it broke my heart when she cried and told her that she had no family and that her mom and father were dead. i remember seeing that scene on tv back in 2001 when i was in the fourth grade. I became so depressed and so inspired that the image of anne talking to hannah has never left me.

Hannah Taylor-Gordon was amazing in this movie. I think all the actors in it really impressed me a great deal. I too was in fourth grade when it came out, it has stuck with me and I have a feeling its not going to leave, nor do I want it too. I think the scene that really has stayed in my mind is when they are all getting off the train at Aschwitz and Anne is screaming bloody-murder at being torn away from her father. Deffanitly an eye opener for a nine year old. I just saw it again and it means so much more now that I'm older and can comprehend what its really showing...

The actors are AMAZING. That scene too always gets me. It is too sad for words.

This movie changed my view on the holocaust. I had always known about it but when I saw this film back when I was in the 6th grade, it made my heart feel so heavy for the victims. All of my friends called each other and told each other to turn it on ABC to watch it! We all loved the movie and talked about it for weeks. I have worn out the VHS that I recorded it on because of the many, many times I have seen it. I now have the DVD. It will always mean alot to me. If you have not seen it, rent or buy it!!

I'll be with you in a minute, Mr. Peabody!
