Yes... Margot was a very special person... just like Anne was. But I think Anne became more known to everyone b/c her diary DID survive. Im sure that if Margot's diary survived.. she would be just as known as her sister. Just my oppinion :-)

Personally, I don't think that almost never existed is the write term here.Edith and Margot were charcters in-even if not the main charcters-the world's most read non-fiction book( and no, I can't consider the Bible as a true non-fiction),that so much was written and talked about.Sadly, it's not just much more than most of the people that were murderd or killed in WW2,some of them never listed,it's actually more than than pretty much damm good percentage of the world population.People will remeber than Anne Frank had an older sister after they will forget who was Aron Charcter.
Than again,yes,behined those charcters stand real people didn't get to be fully expressed on the diary,and didn't get the privliage of viewing the way so many people will hear about that, but that's far from never existing.
Than again,for years I wish that Margot Frank 's diary will be found, it will get the analyzing of Anne's diary to so many new levels .

One of Margot's friends in the Anne Frank: Remembered documentary described Peter as being un-gifted, intellectually. He was a sort of 'man's man' and I think he was too insecure about his masculinity to write down his feelings in a notebook.

Pure specualtion of course. I would have loved it if he kept a diary, I've wondered for quite sometime what his life was like pre-annex.

You hit the nail on the head. A 'man's man' is the stereotypical man: loves sports, laughing, and doesn't like to talk about their feelings.

A 'woman's woman' would basically be a stereotypical woman. Loves makeup, clothes, and talking about her emotions.

I wouldn't say Anne didn't love Margot terribly much. According to witnesses Anne would bring food to Margot while she was sick and actually lost the will to live after Margot died. Just because siblings do not get along doesn't mean they don't love each other with all their hearts. My brother and I don't get on well but I would do anything for him when push came to shove.

We'll see whose the filthiest person alive! We'll just see!

Have you guys even heard that Margot ALSO kept a diary but it's been never found

i even contacted the Anne Frank house about if they ever looked for Margot's diary

i want an answer for that one
