Did anyone read Hannah's story?

I have her book, I think it's called "Memoirs of Anne Frank". Has anyone else read it? What are your thoughts?

reply

I've read it and I think it's essential material for any Anne Frank follower. It not only fills you on what happened "outside the walls" of the Secret Annexe after the Franks went into hiding but also explains a lot of things that happen in the movie like the two left hands comment which Anne herself teased Hannah about and Mr. Goslar dressing up as Hitler which actually did happen albeit not at Anne's birthday party.

You also learn about how Mrs. Goslar resented the Franks not taking them with them to Switzerland, Hannah's boyfriend, Hannah's own tale of survival in the concentration camps and lots of other interesting bits but I already gave away too much. All in all it brings good closure to the Anne Frank story.

She hated them for not taking with them? I don't remember that part. I've also been wondering what happened to that (slightly) handicapped girl that was staying with Hannah.

I'm beginning to think you read another book. Look it up again. They are both in there. <_<
