As much as I love this movie there are mistakes in it.
1.In the beginning of the movie Anne's hair is long then it's short, then it's long, then it's short.
2.Anne wasn't sitting in her room when the summen's thingy came she was sitting on the roof.
Those are the only ones I can think of. Does anybody else have any mistakes that they'd like to share?
Yeah there are a couple of mistakes in this movie. One that I remember is when the Franks are walking to the annexe for the first time. In Anne's diary she said that it was raining when they made this journey. But I think the director was right in keeping it dry as you can feel the tension a lot better than you would have done if it was raining.

Also, when Anne and Hello are talking in the ice cream place, on the window it says something but it isn't really spelt like that. (I got that from someone else.. the word was snoepjes or something..)

When the Germans send all the letters in Amsterdam to surrender or suffer the fate of their countrymen (something like that) "Anne" goes outside and picks one up, there is a girl on the right of her, next shot it shows her still catching some and some in her hand and there are other people around her with the girl now on her left.
shareAnother mistake is when Anne and Hannah meet in Bergen Belsen Concentration Camp. In the film they can see each other, but in reality they couldn't because the fence was covered in straw.

Anne also mensions before she includes that poem in her tale 'A maths class' that "...I took the bull by the horns and answered his joke with a joke of my own, i.e., by writing my essay (with Sanne Ledermann's help) in verse." (p.57, Tales from the Secret Annex)
I can think of some other small mistakes in the film, although it doesn't matter that much in terms of the other mistakes that have been made.
I noticed in the credits Anne's friend is billed as Hannah Goslar when in fact her name was Hanneli Goslar, or Hanne (pronounced like 'ha-nuh') for short. Anne's name would have probably been pronounced more like 'ah-nuh' in Dutch rather than 'an' as many people pronounce her name and like it is in the film.
There'e this one mistake i`ve noticed several times
when you see Anne's new classroom for the first time,there's a boy in the front row who looks at the camera for just a split second.

shareI think the difference in the length of her hair is due to the fact of curling. In some scenes it's curled tighter, or differently, than in others.
shareAn is pronounced An-uh, and remember all A's are pronounced as the A in ''are''.
so Hannah is said as hannah, but remember the A being from ''are''.

I noticed that too. It was the first thing I spotted when watching the scene and paused and rewound it. It was quite obvious. Didnt anyone tell that kid not to not look in the camera.
I want to rip my arm off just to have something to throw at the TV screen.
