Do young people care or even KNOW about Anne anymore?
In English, we have to analyse a trailer of our choice for our course work. I chose this movie and the people I sit with started laughing at me! I then got told by a girl who used to be interested in Anne Frank I was camp because I liked her [Anne]. I then said "But you used to like Anne Frank" and she said it was ok because she's a girl. They're acting like Anne was fictional.
So why don't young people (I'm 14) understand the necessity of Anne's story? Or the Holocaust for that matter? It ticks me off. Only one of my friends really knows about Anne.
