Wow..absolutely amazing

This is the third movie I've watched about Anne Frank. The first The Diary of Anne Frank (1959) and the TV mini-series The Diary of Anne Frank (2009). This one, bar none has the greatest emotional impact of her story. The movie had a good pace, covering the time period before the war and immediately following the war, yet it didn't feel rushed.

Overall, the acting and the detail of the "Secret Annex" is by far the most accurate and the film makers wanted to get it right.

Well done, brilliant movie.

Otto Frank was a humble man who must've had a lot of heart and courage to take the steps to look out for his family by putting them into hiding and allow four others to join them. Not only that, he had the strength to publish his daughter's diary, unedited and unashamed.

"I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confide in anyone, and I hope you will be a great source of comfort and support. 12 June 1942."

"Toto, I've [got] a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."
