The movie was just absolute crap.....why on earth did Kar throw away his bag to save the girl? How can Kar have potential after watching Kung-Fu movies ??Don't you need years of real training ?.......what are the chances that two Americans who accidentally bump into each other have the potential to be the scroll bearers?....and during the movie I thought: He's not a real German, what a strange accent....and what do I read: He's Czech....they didn't even bother to hire a real German or somebody with a convincing accent to play the Nazi......

Who say's he never took classes? Anyways, as you saw he imitated the actions of the fighters on the movies, therefore, learning their techniques.

Well he probably convinced quite a few people, and that is his job as an actor!
