well yea cuz i would sooooo love to shoot kalina cuz i just personally think she is horrible. she is mean and bossy and selfish and i hate her. now that thats out of the way......who would U PPL want to kill most out of all the characters in the movie??
Well they should really made it a dark ending story instead of the typical family survive haunted house and gohome happy story, or bring in more characters to make it more gory. Like most horror films, the story line was helplessly C class, speciall effect was really nothing special, and the amount of blood they used won't interest any stereotype horror movie fan. I had only one moment of enjoyment because of that hot naked ghost princess chick. 5.0/10 is spot on.
Hmmm...I don't think I'd kill Maggie. She was kind of over the top, but she (and Matthew Lillard) supplied the only energy and life in a cast who seemed like they really didn't wanna be there. Kalina did make me kinda sick. It bugs me when in movies they think the only way to make a woman appear tough is to make her a mean, short-tempered, yelling rhymes-with-witch. But as soon as she saw Cyrus all that toughness vanished and she became this pathetic, whimpering pansy. So yeah, I'd totally off Kalina.
"You ended that sentence with a preposition?! You bastard..."
Arthur. Why? Because he was a dick. He punches Dennis and says something to the effect of it's all your fault. When just 30minutes earlier Dennis had been trying to get him and his family out of the house. Yes Dennis caught the ghosts but as he said he had no idea what for. Hell catching the ghosts seems like a good thing to me, they were killing people.
I don't think he ever even apologises for it either. So yea, Arthur. And probably Bobby as well just cause he was so stupid. Oh right creepy voices coming from the basement of a house we've never looked around? Yea im gonna go have a look.
Well he punched him after he found out that Dennis had helped entrap the spirit of his deceased wife. I think most people would react the same way especially in that situation.
If I were the Jackal , I would have probably finished Kathy off while I had the chance. I would probably have sunk my sharp talon in her wrist or throat rather than just scratching her like an angry kitty.
bobby... what kinda of dumbfvck kid keeps going downstairs when he hears a scary voice saying "bobby, don't come down here... bobby, go back upstairs to your father".... ugh, it's always some dumb kid in a horror movie that just fvcks up everything for everyone else...
It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack. Not rationality...
Hmm, it seems like everyone would want to kill someone. XD I can't exactly say that I was watching the movie going, "Kill them, kill them!" I think every character (minus Dennis) had something that annoyed me about them.
Arthur was always touching his face (for some reason that annoyed me after a while), and stereotypical horror movie parents tend to bother me anyway. The ones who spend all whole movie running into danger for the sake of their kids. I don't blame them, but it gets old.
Maggie whined a lot, and no matter how many times Dennis said, "Don't touch me." she did it anyway, eventually causing him to get stuck in a room with the Torn Prince. And even after he escapes she's still touching him. And the way she talked to the kids was definately not nanny-like, she was kinda mean to them.
Bobby sounded like a 2 year old with half of the things that he said, and I'm pretty sure the actor was...6 in reality? He was cute though, just...not enough time on screen that he didn't really get to do much.
Kathy was probably my least favorite character. Her expressions stays the same pretty much the whole movie minus when she gets attacked by the Jackal. And the bathroom scene was a bit...overly dramatic. I couldn't even tell whether Kathy was supposed to be a older teenager or 20-something, and that's pretty sad.
Kalina actually wasn't annoying to me, I still have trouble figuring out her true motive. Was she really on both sides, or just Cyrus'? Maybe she was both at the same time. Like she had planned to free the spirits when Cyrus was done with them. I also found her subtle rivalry with Dennis amusing to watch in the junkyard scene and the library. I was kinda of put off that Kalina died, but for some reason I remember laughing at how it happened...
Ben Moss was a character who I wasn't really upset when he died 'cause he was pretty weird. His expression was always like, "I know something you don't...~" and no one ('cept maybe Dennis?) notices it. I kind of would have liked to have seen an explanation of how he and Cyrus were connected, but still...
And as I said earlier, Dennis was the only character that didn't annoy me. Despite the fact that he's being serious half the time, he's also being a sarcastic ass which was rather amusing. His death was sad, but after half way through the movie and you know it's gonna happen, there's not much you can do about it...Still, Thir13en Ghosts actually caused me to go on watching all the movies Matthew Lillard is in; he's the first actor to ever actually really win my approval since I didn't used to watch movies often.
So...almost everyone annoyed me somehow, but kill them off? I think I wouldn't. XD
i would SOOOOOOO kill the hammer dude with all of those nails in him the juggernaut, so i could stop the nightmares and get some fooking sleep at night.
LOL. You can't kill a ghost cause they're already dead.
I would practically kill off everyone except Dennis and Bobby. reply share
