Were Diego/Gael boys in real life?
The thing that impressed me most about this film was the ability of the two actors to portray such a free flowing, real teenage friendship. The banter was so spot on that it seemed like they may have been really good friends outside of the film (or just really great actors). In fact, all three of the leads made a great team I'd imagine they were actually drinking (or smoking) during most of the drinking and smoking scenes just because of how perfectly they nailed it all. Really, really great acting by all 3
