Woo hoo! Got the blu a day early!

Amazon sent it a bit early, so excited. Transfer is gorgeous and both English and Japanese in 5.1 DTS....sounds beautiful.

Only quibble is that all bonus features are just carry overs from the DVD...nothing new, and they aren't up converted so they look kinda bad in contrast. But a very minor issue, especially now that I finally have one of my favorites on Blu-ray! :-)

Can you confirm if the Blu has subtitles or dubtitles?

I just finished watching the bluray ver (which is looks and sounds amazing) and to my knowledge it's a subtitle.

I've considered upgrading all my Studio Ghibli dvds to bluray. That's gonna be expensive.

Can't stop the signal.

This was the last upgrade for me. I spread them out over time but now I'm done and it was worth it.
