Just watched spirited away for the second time, 8 years later. Honestly, the first time I watched it liked it more. Being that these are the two highest rated movies on Miyazaki's filmography, I thought they should be compared. I think the story of princess mononoke wasn't so all over the place like spirited away, and had a more profound effect on me. What do you think?

Princess Mononoke left me wanting more. It is the better of the two films, but I just wanted to know more and more story to be told.
Spirited away was a whole package of a story.
In the end, they are both really great movies.
Spirited Away is my 5th favorite movie.
Princess Mononoke is my 25th.
Both are 10/10s, but Spirited Away anyday.
It is Miyazaki's masterpiece, only triumphed by Howl's Moving Castle. (4th favorite movie)
