The Most WTF movie for Kids

My little sister told me that it took her a long time to recover from the scene where the old wrinkly face of the river spirit whom Chihiro assisted at the Bath house finally revealed itself after the cleansing.

That was actually a "what the hell?" scene for me.

Other scenes was the scary parts with No Face at the bath house and when Haku (in Dragon form) had blood all over him because of an attack.

what were other WTF parts of the film for you? I saw the BTS of this film when I was still in grade school ( I watched the whole movie when I was 23) and I wasn't disturbed about the parents turning to pigs part. I was actually amused but I was shocked when father pig was beaten by a fly swatter. Now that was too much.

My kids have never had problems with Miyazaki films - even Princess Mononoke.

My little (at the time) daughter was really scared of Princess Mononoke, but once she'd grown enough, embraced the Miyazaki films, starting with My Neighbor Totoro, also a brilliant film. When we traveled to Japan, my daughter and I stopped by the Ghibli Studio Museum in the suburbs of Tokyo. Great experience.
