Has anybody visiting this webpage lived in a converted industrial loft

with a freight elevator? And how would you describe the experience?

I haven't, but whenever I see those types of spaces in movies, they seem like such incredible places to live! Spacious and airy with lots of room to dance!

But I'll bet you'd get spiderwebs all over the ceiling where it is hard to clean, lol!

My question was whether or not such a space could really have fallen under rent control. Not saying it couldn't have. But wondered.

Only in a perfect world. Or at least a world where too many lofts have been built and the rents drop precipitously.
