Sarasota Film Festival
Looks like Funny Money will be showed this week at the Sarasota Film Festival

I live near Sarasota, so I went tonight.
The premier was incredible - the movie isn't what I would call one of Chase's best but it's a pretty good comedy for a cheap independant budget. Apparently it was his first time seeing the finished thing so he seemed pretty excited. Overall everything was great, the one thing I kept hearing afterwords was that a few parts were a bit hard to hear and certain charactors dialog was inaudible at times.
Afterwords, they did a Q/A session with the audiance and them, including the Director, etc. If it means anything, Gene Simmons (Kiss) was there since he was a pretty big investor.
I was there, too. Boy, there was an incredible amount of people in the audience. I think I heard somewhere around 1,700 people... Geez...
Oh, and the movie was good, too.
