Released to theaters or straight to video???

I've heard that this movie will be released in theaters nationwide and I've also heard that it is going straight to video. Does anybody have a definitive answer or know where I can find one?

The dvd release date is March 27th. You can pre-order one from Amazon.com or Barnesandnoble.com. The film opened in a few theaters.
