Australian accent

Terrible.
That scene is just hot garbage.
He's talking to Denis Slater and Slater comments "so you're originally from Australia?".
Now mind you, Chase was already talking the whole time in his regular 'American' accent. Immediately after the question Chase starts babbling on in an Australian accent. Just babbling. Like the type of stuff you would say if you were playing a game like "Catchphrase" and the word you had was "Australia". You'd start rambling things like: dingos, crocodile dundee, walk-a-bout.
None of it would be funny, the only point would be for people to say 'Australia'.
Well, that's pretty much what Chase did.

The movie was bad. This was terrible.

That was the point. It was supposed to be a crap scene. The entire point is that the movie was a farce, and the style of a farce is exactly what they did. It was perfection in the world of farces.

Of course if you dont like farces, you wouldnt like it much :)

Oh come on....
you know that's a cop-out.
No director is going to go out of their way to make scenes that make the audience uncomfortable over how unfunny it is playing out.

It was a poorly executed scene.
