I watched it the first time for about 45 minutes and had to turn it off. terrible acting, terrible plot, terrible everything. So, I got a day off today and decided I sit and watch the tube. I got this off starz and figured since it was free, I'd give it a try again. I thought perhaps before my expectations were too high. I sat through the entire thing and I fell like the company that made this owes me money now.

What a horrible piece of garbage. I hope Chevy Chase is sorry for doing this movie. If he's not, he should be burned at the stake.

lol terrible movie but I wanted to walk out and I almost did but I just foward fasted through some of it to get it over with

My guess is that the big problem was the direction (that always has to be a guess in my view if we weren't actually on the set). If the performances had been tweaked/refined a bit more, so that the timing was better, for example, this would have worked a lot better overall. Of course, we could blame that on the cast, too, but a good director should recognize the problems and fix them--everyone in the cast has done better work with different directors, and the script had a lot of potential, imo.
