Emma Thompson, Audra McDonald and Christoper Lloyd were GREAT!

I was really surprised when I was so very moved by this movie. I watched at first because Emma Thompson was in it. I was so delighted with her revealing portrayel of a cancer victim. Christopher Lloyd was at his usual best. Everybody remembers him from "Taxi." But my favorite performance by him was in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock when he played Commandor Kluge.
Audra McDonald played the nurse so convincingly. I've worked in hospitals around nurses and she played the part of the caring nurse so naturally. I just discovered that Audra Macdonald is a 4 time Tony Award winner on Broadway! I remember her best from the cancelled 2003 TV series "Mr Serling." I really liked that show! (Of course it isn't the first good show to be cancelled.) A clip of her wonderful singing is available at the following link. What a superb talent!
