Renee Zellweger + Colin Firth

I have a confession to make: I haven't seen this movie. I know there are people that like it and that there's a 3rd movie on the way. That said, for some reason I'm not fond of the idea of Zellweger and Firth as potential love interests (or Hugh Grant for that matter). I assume that she's probably not supposed to be a "knockout," but I think these men are in a different league, and can do "better." I guess I just don't like her and think she's too plain.

Do/did you like her in this role or not?

Well,watch the movie then you'll understand why Firth+Grant fell for her.

Dunno what you're on about. Renee Zellweger has never looked better than she did in this movie.

I thought she looked better in Jerry Maguire. In Chicago, she was thin but lost all her softness.

I have a friend that looks like Renee did in this movie, and I told her that as a compliment years ago, and she took it as an insult. I think she's pretty, but not exactly sexy, but haven't liked Reneesince she became a home-wrecking bitch a few years ago.

But I don't watch the film for her, but for the hot and sexy Hugh Grant and Colin Firth.

I liked her in the role. Can't imagine any other actress playing Bridget better than Renee did.

That is literally the whole point, she's supposed to be just your average woman. Although saying that, I actually think she's really pretty.

That is a horribly shallow thing to say about anyone. There are lots of couples in real life where one of them might be somewhat more attractive than the other but that doesn't make them 'out of their league'. Personality plays a huge factor in finding someone to go out with and in this movie Renee's character has a much better personality than either of the guys.

I'd recommend watching the movie and then forming your opinion from that. You'd be able to get a better understanding of the relationships between them.
