I loved this series. I wasn't a big fan of the X Files though. Some of the people I know that were big X Files fans were disappointed with it. The two series share the same setting, but they are actually totally different genres. X Files is more of a drama, or a mystery. The Lone Gunmen is a comedy.
If you watch it hoping you'll get more of the X Files you will surly be disappointed.
