Actually, based on every other Ten Thirteen release, they should have done it on four discs. Each "X-Files", "Millennium" and "Harsh Realm" disc contains up to four episodes, then the remainder (if there is one) is put on the final disc along with extra features. Season 2 of "Millennium" had three episodes and bonus features on the sixth disc. It would have made perfect sense to have three discs with four episodes each and a fourth disc with the final episode and extras but Fox had to go cheap.

Well probably because the company who made the "The Lone Gunmen" dvd set is too cheap to do anything right. For instance on my second disc that I got has the words on the wrong side, like side a is side b and side b is side a.
But I agree with you totally, like there should have been nice printed discs.
Another thing that I have seen in the past year or so is most companies who make dvd releases are getting cheap, because most dvds do not even have the/a 'chapter' insert inside the case anymore. And I for one like those inserts, so even though I expect not to get one I still get pissed everytime I buy a new dvd movie and it doesn't have one inside.

i think that 4 discs with the photos of the cast the 3 lone gunmnes (1 per disc),and i don't know the last with the photo of jimmy, or yves or maybe Morris Fletcher or a Gropur Image with the blue faces, or a photo of ther office or a cover of their newspaper will be great, i mean in first time, they cancell the show, and now they give us a cheap dvd box set, i mean, we deserve something better...
we need to make a game, describe how do you will make the lone gunmen series pack?
After i write mi ideas, i am short of time right now....
The pack of the series of Harsh Realm (another C.Carters series) someone know how are the discs? 2 sides? or the number of discs?
At the time the DVD was released they weren't really sure of how well they would sell. DUH! (that was aimed at the FOX people, not you) Of course they would sell well. As so many netwotks are finding out, the ratings system used is flawed. TLG had a lot more fans out here than the ratings showed. And we wanted to see more shows. But we'll have to see. (Listen to Dean Haglands' comment in the featurette when they are talking about the Jump The Shark episode) I wouldn't really get my hopes up for any more though.
shareWhy would you want 6 discs with the same content instead of 3? It would cost more for Fox to produce and therefore cost more for us to buy. The video quality is fine and there wasn't any reason to use 6 discs. I also had the problem of the words being on the wrong side of disc 2 but you know what I did? I flipped the disc over, big deal.
shareOh please. Nobody likes flipdisks. Not only are they of poorer quality than normal discs, but they are easier to break, and they look like *beep*

Because if they did that they couldn't sell them for a bean a copy. I got mine at the great wal*mart of china for $20. I was so thrilled to see it on the shelf in any form, because honestly I never thought that the series would see the light of day again. I'm just greatful it was actually released at all, considering how much FOX seemed to hate it the first time around, flopping around the time-slots, pre-empting it, not promoting it much, and generally doing everything in their power to kill it (which they eventually did, along with the heroes just to add insult to injure).
Be glad they didn't just burn the master copies and dance around them, which is what I would have expected.
