Had the Lone Gunmen not been canceled after the season finale, and continued on the following season (which would have been during season 9, the last season for x-files) and continued to get good ratings... would it have returned even after x-files ended? Think how great that would be to have a show on TV still that took place in the x-files universe
shareI think it would have, if FOX had not had some sort of mysterious bias against it. Its ratings were actually just as good as the first couple seasons of the X-Files.

Well said. The fact that these hacks still have their jobs and still earn ridiculously high salaries is funnier than all the Fox comedy sitcoms put together!
