I don't think "Musings" is important to the "Lone Gunmen" series in any way.

The ones that actually have significance to the spinoff series itself are:

"E.B.E." (first appearance)
"Unusual Suspects" (origin story)
"Dreamland" & "Dreamland II" (they only appear in the second part but both episodes deal with Morris Fletcher)
"Three of a Kind" ("Unusual Suspects" followup plus appearances by Fletcher and Jimmy the Geek, the precursor to Kimmy)
"Nothing Important Happened Today" (Langly's face is still blue) and of course, "Jump the Shark".
