What do you guys mean by the DVD?

Don't worry, I know what a DVD is, but I'm confused on some of these posts. At first I thought someone said that they have the entire series of this show on DVD, then it seems like Fox just threw together some sort of DVD mix with some episodes from the show, and some from the X-files show.

Which one is it?

The show was only 13 to 14 episodes(I don't have my box handy at the moment, a friend borrowed it). The box set includes all of these, plus the episode "Jump The Shark" from the X-Files. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I personally loved this show, I was upset when it was cancelled, I never saw the episode on X-files when they died, but I was mad when they did, I don't know how they could kill off these characters.

That is if they are dead.
As far as we know they could be in the next(sequel) "The X File" movie.
That is if they make another "The X Files" movie, which I hope there will be another movie.

They're definitely dead because Mulder saw their ghosts in "The Truth".

As good as The Lonegunmen are you think that they couldn't fake that?!

By "good" do you mean "inept"? Considering all their bumbling antics, I find it entirely impossible to believe that they would be able to pinpoint the exact spot that Mulder chose to take a leak as he was evading the military. I also see no reason why they wouldn't have said something like "hey, Mulder, we faked our deaths". They are certainly ghosts in "The Truth". They're dead. End of story.

neverrrrrrrrrrrr!

Mulder have seen a lot of thing...maybe he was hallucinating for some reason... that's why he don't seem to feel a thing when he saw the ghosts of his best friends!!!!

anyway...

I don't make movies for America. I make movies for planet Earth

I agree. How could they go down without a fight? Out of character for them.

I don't think it can be made now in the current climate the US is living in. Especially Fox News jumping on every news media for turning far left. You couldn't of gotten more left wing than the conspiracy theories in X Files and The Lone Gunmen.

My feeling is that Fox intended the show to be cancelled because the studio was about to turn to the far right. That's the reason why The Simpsons episodes during 2001-2005 the episodes were bland and not as edgy as they used to be, until 2006's Treehouse of Horror XVII when the episode made a swipe at the alleged weapons of mass destruction, and with the episode GI (annoyed grunt).

Maybe when the democrats get in again and then Fox will change it's tune again.

Another reason it was cancelled was because 911 hapenned. Remember the 1st ep was about a plane crashing into the World Trade Center- just 6 months before it came to truly happen. After that Fox was a little iffy on conspiracy theories that had to do with the goverment... especially at this sensitive time in America.
