I don't agree with the criticisms of how Clark shot the film, on any level. I think it was entirely justified and meaningful within its context. I think this is an excellent film and I've watched it several times over the years.
Btw, check out Kids, another film by Clark.
And Oliver Stone for this subject matter? I think I'd prefer Clark any day of the week.
