I don't get it, why did Donnie start vomiting when Derek was playing that arcade game?

might have been the reaction to dropping acid before going to the arcade.

The acid he took beforehand, the disorientation of the bright video game lights, and possibly an empty stomach (notice they were eating in the scene immediately following the vomit scene).
