Heather?

What the hell happened to Heather as a child?

There was a lot of mumbling going on in this film as it was but then some loud mouth walked in and spoke right over the part where she was describing her childhood. Can anyone enlighten me?

I had a fish named Sam he lived in a bowl........

it is described in detail in the book..and yes, it is horrific.

If I get a chance, I will try to review that part of book and present some precis of it here.

I'm a tough judge normally, but in her case, all things considered, I think I'd have cut her loose with suspended sentence.

Yeah do that mate because I can't find out any other info on the net?
It's weird, I'm exactly the same age as the characters portrayed in this movie yet I can't remember this case at all...but them I'm all the way down here in Oz. Never seen the book about either?

I'm australian as well..older age-group.

I got the book for nothing at a garage sale...I did not even realise what it was about, a case in Fort LAuderdale, it sat unread for months, one day with nothing to read, I picked it up, and I'm like 'whoa, wtf, Broward County, *beep* streets and stores I've been in!"I've wound up twice in same town on vacations, I love it, , so from then, I've almost made an adopted hobby of the case..

If you are interested in the case, I recommend getting a copy and reading it, it fills in a LOT of blanks which are not even touched upon in movie...fills in a lot more anecdotes of what a *beep* psycho *beep* -up Bobby was.

But yeah, Heather Swallers...you could make a movie just about what she had been through...it is probably almost *beep* impossible to have things as bad as she had, and NOT wind up in trouble later.

Chances are you would get a copy on ebay for F-all, these days...check the UK sellers who send books to Australia for very low prices and postage.
