Did Lisa get the sentence she deserved?

I know in real life that her life sentence was reduced, but regardless do you think she deserved a life sentence? I mean she didn't participate in the actual killing of Bobby, nor did she lure him (like Ali did) or help dispose the body (like her cousin did). She basically got a life sentence for conspiracy.

yeah, but you say that like it is no biggie.

So, some guy or woman conspires with hitman to hit their spouse...no real problem because they did not do the physical killing?

She was a prime mover in the whole thing, without her pushing, although Bobby was on the nose and being villified by whole crew, it would probably not have even happened...she was cheerleading throughout, validating the drug-damaged half-wit who actually struck the first knife blow, when he was Ra ra Ra about what he was going to do to Kent......(even though Semenec's opening attack was insipid and ineffective, except it put the scent of actual blood in the air and seemed to frenzy Puccio.)

I didn't say it was no big deal, but a life sentence? Also, a person ordering a hitman on their spouse is a lot different from a group of 7 individual teens all collaberating to try and kill one of their own.

apart from the likely ages set involved,and perhaps the typical motives or drivers in each case which are linked in to the age groups , is it particularly a lot different?
It is premeditated brutal homicide.

Also, although the sentence was life, everyone except Puccio, Kaufman and Semenec (and he may be out by now for all I know), the ones who struck actual blows, has been released long long ago, so obviously the minimum sentence to serve was either fairly modest, or the situation was left fairly open to the appeal process.

Yeah I'm aware that Lisa's life sentence was greatly reduced and she is free today. Regardless, I just didn't think she deserved a life sentence considering she didn't actually touch Bobby Kent or take part in the actual murder. She didn't help dispose the body and she didn't even order the hitman.

Per the law in some states, instigating or masterminding a crime is actually more severe in some cases than actually committing the actual deed. Would Puccio have gone through the murder without having his girlfriend constantly pushing him? Not likely.
I personally feel she got off easy, assuming things went down the way they claim they did.

it might be a heavy sentence, but must be seen in the additional context of being commensurate with the other sentences handed out...everyone I can think of who got jailtime, got a heavy sentence,
so her and Willis-----
and maybe more so Swallers who really was just dragged along on the wave with the only friends she had and whos involvement was way less than the other two girls, almost nothing in fact----
...were really just sentenced in step and proportion to the other sentences handed out.
Puccio was originally sentenced to death..Kaufmann I think maybe as well, but maybe not, not 100% recalling his ruling.
But they have all as good as been locked up into middle-age with as far as I know, no definite roadmap to being released even now..

You are kind of partly taking Connolly's own line, after she was arrested...and the main reason her defence was fubarred as much as it was..they fired their original lawyer, who was a family friend and doing the idiots a favor anyway, because he told them Lisa was in serious trouble, and WAS going to serve time, so they better get on board, make nice, and get the best deal they could more or less beg for.
That was not good enough for her and them, they fired him, got some idiotic TV reality show lawyer who told them what they wanted to hear, and Connolly went down for the full ride..apart from still being cut loose after a few years anyway.
The guys all went down hard for the count...only Dzvirko got consideration.. .so they cannot give the two primary bitches who really did set up and boost this deal, a free ride.

Bear in mind my own contempt for the victim himself in this case, so not like I want to see his killers burned because I had any love for Kent . I had absolutely none.I even think removing him was probably a good aim in itself.

It was a brutal murder that was not deserved. I guess the sentences all depend what state you live in. They should all get life. They could've just kicked his butt, not kill him. They were young adults, most of them not in school. They could've avoided him, get a restraining order or take him to court.
