Different versions
Can some one tell what are the differences between the two versions?
shareI think the only difference is how the movie is edited. The director probably extended some scenes and added a scene here and there that he had to cut out for the movie release due to time constraints or rating constraints. I have not seen the director's cut yet so I don't know.
shareWell, up in the trivia section, it states that one cut has a Patton take off and in another there is a Braveheart spoof, but that is bogus because the film has both, a Patton AND a Braveheart spoof. So there is already some confusion with whoever wrote that.
shareI've seen both versions and I couldn't tell any difference. Unless I missed something.
R.I.P. Uncle Steve
At the game, there was a patton spoof. In the directors cut, they replaced it with gil riding in on a horse, spoofing Braveheart. There are lots of changes, but no more big ones. Some lines are changed, and in one line, eliza dushku's voice sounds different.
shareI haven't seen the original in years but right from the get go I've noticed changes in the DC. In the beginning when Dizzy is dancing as a kid, you see his mother leaving his father. At the mall when talking about abstinence you see the popular jock black dude squeezing Tina Assgood's booty. The scene where Dizzy films the principle *beep* in a school stall is longer.
There were a few more changes but they were minor, such as a weird looking dude saying "amen" to Dizzy's religious rant and a few more sound bites of people talking *beep* in the hallways at school. I'm only 18 minutes in and these are the changes I've noticed so far.
