That'd be one way for JK to get around the cast hating her . Don't bother with a legacy sequel of late 30s Potter actors and start over with new cast of kiddies!

A TV series would be better. I mean, it worked for His Dark Materials, as opposed to that godawful rushed Golden Compass movie.

THE ORIGINAL BOOK AND FILM SERIES CAUGHT CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN ITS SPELL...THIS TIME AROUND IT WILL LOSE THAT ADULT APPEAL FOR THE MOST PART.

2) The original actors don't wanna be involved with JKR, so can't do Cursed Child
3) Recasts icons
4) Not the Marauders series everyone wants
5) Involves bigot JK Rowling, who recently doubled down on Nazi apologia.
