Why is Karen's surname now Teal(e)?
And where is Rob, I haven't seen him for ages?
It's her maiden name. She reverted back to it after her accident when she didn't want to be with Rob anymore (obviously she's back with him now but for some reason hasn't gone back to using 'Hollins').
I imagine we haven't seen so much of Rob lately as Chris Walker who plays him had directed a few episodes which we saw over the past few weeks. I noticed that we saw less of Matt Chambers and Owen Brenman when they were directing some episodes too.
I thought it was a bit strange too, seeing everyone still refers to her as Mrs Hollins!

I think Mrs Tembe (who obviously only refers to people by their surnames) has called her 'Teale' at some point but I can't be sure she hasn't called her Hollins recently.
