I'm sure when he first joined there was some discussion that he knew the man that was going to set up some Super Clinic as a rival to The Mill. It all fell through ( if my memory is correct) when Al came up with a story about the site of the new clinic endangering some protected Newts that were living in the area. Did I dream this?? Someone (Howard?) was wary that he had been sent to get revenge but was convinced that was ridiculous . Does anyone else remember this?!

Yeah, you're definitely on the right track remembering Howard's reluctance to trust Franc because of his association with the rival surgery. I can't wait for them to bust him as the mole!
