REAL REASON arm/hand of "Mrs Tenbe" (actress Lorna Laidlaw) is in sling?

WHAT has happened to the arm/hand of actress Lorna Laidlaw ("Mrs Tenbe")?!

It has been in a sling for some weeks now, and I am therefore now thinking that perhaps this was a real-life injury - i.e. something that happened to the actress - rather than just part of "Mrs T."'s storyline.

i.e. I don't think it was specifically written into the role of "Mrs T." - as there seem to be no events in the storyline set around the occurrence of the injury/sling!

e.g. "Mrs Tembe" just mentioned the reason for the sling once, when her character returned from Africa (in approx. the first part of 2015); that is the only mention of the injury so far!! And the injury has not been a feature of any part of the character's stories.

(Obviously, if Lorna Laidlaw had injured herself it would then have had ! to be written into the storyline.)

I have Googled but found no events online.

Any ideas??
