I love the new doctor, Sid. The actor is playing the part really well. I hope he stays as I'm not sure he appears in the opening titles yet. He is so different to all the other characters and is providing some really good humour aswell.

We are going to need someone to take on the role of comedy at The Mill as I have heard that Howard is leaving in July. I hope this is not true but Ian Kelsey seemed to say he is on his Twitter account (@deaddaveglover). What a shame! I've loved Howard on the show. Have found myself laughing out loud over my lunch at lots of his scenes. His comic timing is brilliant. Did find the bullimia story a bit weird though. It was covered in a couple of episodes and never really touched on again. Anyway, all hopes of him reuniting with Emma are fading into the distance!

I'll be sad to see Howard leave too. He was a great replacement as practice manager after Julia. Really not sure if the next person will be any good but I guess we'll see.

Sid is a sweetie but oh my word, his constant chatter would drive me to murder! 

Our friend has just been killed in a fatal sunlight accident!

That's true! It's one thing laughing at him being inflicted on other people, but it would be a bit different having to put up with it personally! Wonder if he'll calm down soon ?
