Wow, he looked so old in yesterday's episode! I remember having such a crush on him when he was in The Upper Hand - I spent the whole episode hoping it wasn't actually him.

I agree he did look a lot older but I thought he looked very distinguished and still quite handsome. I saw him in real life once in the early 90s and he certainly got my pulse racing!!

Every episode of The Upper Hand is on YouTube - it's worth watching solidly for a few weeks from start to finish.

How a series with zero chemistry between the leads managed to do seven series is remarkable, but it's really Honor Blackman who makes it watchable.

If they remade it today, the couple would Honor Blackman and Joe McGann.
