Love the way the writers have the ability to make us change our opinion of someone by letting us see another side of them. The only hint we had before was the Parkinson's and they hadn't made much of that. Now the ex wife is back and we see a different man altogether!

While I still think his treatment of Rob, Driver and especially Jimmi was totally uncalled for, I think Monday's episode did a good job of showing us the man behind all the bluster, and I actually respected him for talking to each of his wronged colleagues and apologising - although, I can understand Jimmi's reluctance to forgive him as easily as the other two may have. But yes, good writing, making us sympathise with a character we loathed last week!
