He got killed in 'Emmerdale', and in 'Casualty' and now it looks like he's heading for the great surgery in the sky since he's leaving the show. He must be one of the most unfortunate persons in Soapland in that respect.
It would be courteous to folk who might want to avoid spoilers if you left out "dead again" and put spoilers in the title instead so folk can decide whether they want to know or not.
I don't actually state that he will be killed. Tis a speculation, much as some while ago several folk were speculating - sans spoilers - that Rob would snuff it. And IK (I) definitely died in his other two soaps yonks ago.
I agree with Ryvermoon, some people don't even want a hint of a spoiler and your title does somewhat put the idea in people's minds. It's always best to warn people and then you can give the game away to your heart's content in the actual post for people who are interested in finding out about future storylines.
Yes, there are occasions when we'll be on the boards pondering what will befall a character but it comes from our own instincts, not from hearing any actual rumours or seeing spoilers online. I do understand your point that you were merely speculating but it's better to err on the side of caution, just in case.
Yes, I'm glad I avoided looking on here until after today's episode....had to watch on iplayer and even the summary was bad enough, stating 'Emma's world falls apart'...so immediately one thinks miscarriage but also as soon as Howard had a headache I was expecting the worst. Trailer for tomorrow is confuding though - Emma saying 'I want to be with Howard'?!
I was putting off watching today's episode as I already had an inkling of what was to come before I read this thread but it was still so sad to watch.
Howard had already flatlined at the end of today so I suppose Emma just wants to be with his body? It would be a miracle if he suddenly came through by tomorrow's episode.
I'm getting ready for some tears anyway - mine included!
Poor, poor Emma, she only buried her husband a couple of years ago and now in the space of a day, lost her baby and Howard too. Way too much grief for one person to cope with.
The scenes with the staff at the Mill were moving. Who'd have thought two of the most abrasive characters would be the most demonstrably upset (Ayesha and Al). My resolve not to cry failed when Al went up to Mrs Tembe for a comforting hug, like a lost little boy.
