Having Valerie back has reminded me just how much I didn't miss her!
share I think I'm remembering correctly that it's only me and one other regular on this board who actually likes her presence in Doctors - I'll strike you off my list of suspects, Mumsy!
I have always provided the caveat that I'm certain if she was a real life person and I had to work with her, I'd probably either throttle her or have a nervous breakdown but I enjoy watching her annoying the other characters anyway. The Cook's Heaven party episode was a laugh, I thought; Valerie causing her usual mayhem.
I don't mind Valerie,she is great to watch, but I am grateful that we only have her in small doses!

shareLOL, I've been a 'grumpy old woman' for years now so it's a miracle that Valerie doesn't incur my wrath. I think she brings just enough humour with her to be on the right side of me.
shareI always forget how much she annoys me to be fair, but then she does bring a different dynamic to the show. Anyone else sensing our recent sighting of Barry could be hinting at a new romance, given their closeness before her last departure?
shareI was wondering when Barry would show up again and you're right, it did seem like he popped up just when Valerie returned to the Mill - I had hoped that the two of them might finally get a chance of pairing up but with Valerie's new health worries, I suppose she has other priorities now. It will be interesting to observe Valerie in a more serious storyline.
