Poor Valerie
I think she has a lot on her plate now
shareI felt sorry for her in that episode where she went for her biopsy, she looked so lonely and out of her depth. Also when she returned to the reception desk at the Mill, Emma and Niamh were happily wittering away and left her sitting there by herself, I just wanted to give her a big hug. I don't want her having to face this on her own.
shareYes, even I'm feeling sympathetic and I must say it was about time they had a cancer storyline when it affects so many people daily!
shareObviously, we often see guest characters in Doctors who have some form of cancer but it's another thing to see one of the regulars (or in Valerie's case, semi-regular), dealing with having tests done, etc.
shareYes, it's usually people in the end stages we see. That's why I thought it was good to see someone going for tests and dealing with the emotions.
And I can't believe she's not telling anyone.
I've just seen Friday's episode.....she tried so hard
I feel so awful for her
If Dr Who is your husband then Avon is your bit of rough
At least Karen knows now. She was really nice and supportive. It gave Valerie a boost and encouraged her to fight the cancer head on.
shareI hope Mrs Tembe will be understanding
