Valerie

Thought we hadn't seen the last of her, following her 'progress' since she left the Mill!

It seemed quite obvious that they would bring her back into the fold after we'd been privy to what she was up to outside of The Mill. It seems she is now a permanent member of the cast.

I don't mind her so much when she has little adventures like this recent one at that dodgy agency. She can be very funny and has some choice lines which make me giggle. It's only when she becomes overbearing at the surgery and stroppy and entitled - that's what I don't care much for.

What about today's little 'adventure'? The writing just now is pushing the boundaries of credulity...

I haven't watched today's ep yet.... judging by your post, I'm expecting another Val horror show, haha.

Our introduction to the Valerie character was one of "oh my word how over the top, silly, and irratating is this crazy lady. Soaps often give us a comedy character to love, hate or even and most probable love to hate. Sure enough she left as she arrived in a crazy whirl of sillyness. MOST of us probably thankfull. Some even sorry. Then we were treated to her popping up now and then. Even given her a storyline to show us we all could love the Valerie.
So I read we are to see her as a regular cast member. I for one feel pleased. She had made us love her. A little less crazy.WELCOME to regular Valerie. A loveable if not slightly clown like great soap character.
