Anyone qualify this as a Christmas movie?

Only the first 19 minutes, and the final 3 minutes of this movie take place at Christmas time. But those collective 22 minutes are VERY VERY Christmasy, audibly decked with a caroling brass band and Satchmo's "Cool Yule" at both ends.

Personally, I love this movie and watch it year round, whenever the mood strikes me. But it really does put me in a Christmasy spirit when I watch it.

Definitely. The whole skating rink thing where they spend their first night and [spoiler] when they reunite! Puts me in a festive mood as well. bonus - it's almost December & I just saw it for the first time!

The final act really should also have been set at Christmas. Bizarre to have the whole first act in December and then abandon the Christmas theme for the rest of the film.
